largest elevation gain for the day at 7,438 ft.
largest elevation gain for the day at 7,438 ft.
The climb up to Antelope Summit was quite lovely through a very nice canyon which if we weren't struggling so much we could have enjoyed even more. But we do take breaks and drink water and give the butts a rest on the way up. At the top Bill has been painting and awaits us with water and camp chairs to rest in while we have our mid-day break. Now we have 22.5 miles to Robinson Summit and another break before the 18 miles downhill into Ely. The downhill is fun but we are tired, a bit too tired to truely enjoy it as we should. All we can think of is a hot shower and our day off!Totals: 4 passes - 78 miles
